Lynn Tate is a new face in New Mexico, having recently moved here from Rochester, NY. The body of Lynn's work focuses on traditional still life. She studied with the esteemed Russian painter Kirill Doron and with Steve Carpenter and studied architectural history at the Royal Academy of Art in London. Lynn has shown at the Silvermine Guild in Connecticut and The Shoe Factory in Rochester. She was a Fine Arts major at Green Mountain College, later serving as a magazine art director and a Creative Manager at a large consulting company. Lynn is an active runner, biker, skier and hiker. She and her husband, John McDermott have three children and have lived in Connecticut, London, and New York State.
