 A R T I S T S T A T E M E N T
I find the adobe buildings and great vistas of New Mexico to have great human character. Their shapes are organic; they have weight and density; they reflect their surroundings. The landscape is powerful, sharing both materials and natural forms. I look for what is true and expressive, not necessarily what is "real." And in doing so, I hope to convey a sense of "home" to the viewer.
